Review: Clinique Airbrush Concealer

I am a fan of Lisa Eldridge (i subscribed to her youtube channel and website www.lisaeldrige.com) and one of the products frequently featured is Clinique's Airbrush Concealer. Hence, when i was looking for an under eye concealer i was choosing between this and MAC's Studio Finish Concealer. And i guess i don't need to say which one i have gotten. ;)

Clinique Airbrush Concealer is PHP1,150.00 at Rustan's and Clinique boutiques. Note that we only got shade 03-Light here in the Philippines.

It comes with a build-in dense brush and it took me five full turn of the dial to saturate the brush on initial use. I find that using the built-in brush gives a precise application while the concealer itself is easily blendable.

Although it is advertised as an illuminating concealer (so said in the box), the finish is more like natural skin and coverage is light-medium so this is not for those with really dark under eye circles or blemishes.

Based on experience, this melts on very hot weather (35-40 degrees Celsius on my estimate) and is not sweat-proof. Sad. :( On the bright side, as long as i blot the oil and sweat right away, i don't need to reapply concealer the whole day -- just a dab of powder will do the trick.

  1. Nice! I still like your lashes the best in this look. :) Also the blush looks pretty on you, is that one of those illuminating blushes? I think I saw a post about one of MAC's blushes na ganun. :)

    1. Joane, it's fleur power blush. Finish is satin, i guess that's why there's a little glow to it -- although the sun's rays also helps in that pic :)

  2. Clinique Airbrush Concealer is a little bit pricey but it’s worth it! The only cons of this product, is this: only one shade is available here in the Philippines.
